Any changes are done with careful consideration with our customer's privacy and security in mind. If you have any concerns or comments, please email us at tsb@pointroberts.net, and we will be happy to review and respond.

Addressing Parcels: Please address your parcels to your full name, exactly as registered, and customer ID number. See our policies below for packages not appropriately addressed.)
Example:
Your Name
1574 Gulf Road # ____
Point Roberts, WA 98281

Storage: Additional storage will be charged after a parcel has been at TSB for one month and will be assessed by the pick-up rate every week thereafter. (Example: a size SSF (flat) item is $2.50 for one month, then $2.50 for each additional week.) Pallets are an exception and are charged the pick-up rate weekly from arrival. Please note we hold our items for two months in total.

Disposal/ Storage Limit: Unless other arrangements are made with us before the two-month mark, all items are subject to be returned to the sender or disposed of based on the policies of the original carrier and TSB staff discretion. Arrangements to hold a parcel longer than two months can be made by emailing tsb@pointroberts.net and letting us know the date of your intended pick-up.

Improperly Addressed Items: Parcels that arrive without your id number, partial names, incorrect spellings, or using someone else's customer ID number will be checked into our mystery shelf, and are easily claimed in person with the complete tracking number from the sender. Unclaimed mystery parcels will be returned to the sender within 30 days, or disposed of based on the original carrier refusal policy.

Recycle: We freely take your flattened cardboard and packaging materials parcels shipped to TSB. There may be a charge for large amounts of cardboard or styrofoam.

Refusals:You may choose to have us refuse a parcel at any time, but it needs to be in response to our email notifications. The depot rate is not owed if you with your refusal request the same day the parcel is delivered. Storage will be owed for parcels retained over one month. Pallets and oversize items that arrive on freight trucks need a return authorization and pick-up notice from the sender. Please note, not all shipping postage is eligible for refusal, and different carriers have their time limits.

Liabilities:TSB is not liable for loss or damage during shipping. If damage is visible (exterior damage) or audible (like broken glass), TSB will immediately notify you and include a description of the damage in the comments of the email notice. We sign for all UPS, FedEx and freight shipments and take responsibility for lost shipments in which our direct signature appears. Please be advised that TSB only signs for USPS parcels that require a signature, eg., certified mail. If not directly signed for, we DO NOT take responsibility for reimbursement in the case of lost or mis-delivered parcels. TSB is not liable for any events out of our control, although we are insured for unforseen natural hazards.

Security:TSB is dedicated to securing your parcels while in our facility. While we have never had a security breach, we take measures to keep your items safe and set a motion-detection alarm when we aren't in the building. In addition, items too small for our shelves, such as an ordered decal, are placed in folders and in a bin on our shelf to prevent loss.

Illegal Activity/Shipments: TSB complies with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations. We also cooperate with law enforcement and Customs officials. Please check with CBSA before importing goods you suspect may not be allowed . TSB Shipping is not responsible for goods not allowed to cross the border, and all storage fees will still be owed.

Privacy Statement: We collect your name, phone number, and email address for your account to notify you of parcel arrivals or any parcel issues. We also collect the 1583 form, a U.S. Postal Service requirement for shipping to any Commercial Mail Receiving Agency. The 1583 form is then stored on a secure drive for our records, and the physical copy is given to the U.S. Postal Service. We do not use the information written on the 1583 form for use other than storing it for our records. TSB Shipping does not share or sell your private information to third parties.
